Stephanie Dillon is a Sydney-based mezzo soprano. Born and raised in country NSW, she studied at the University of New South Wales, graduating in 2014 with a Bachelor of Music/Bachelor of Arts. Stephanie is a full-time chorister and regular soloist with the Choir of St James’ King Street, Sydney. She also performs as a soloist and ensemble member with other professional ensembles, including Pinchgut Opera, The Song Company, Cantillation, Bach Band @ St James, Collegium Musicum Choir at UNSW, Sydney Antiphony and Luminescence Chamber Singers. Recent highlights and upcoming engagements include singing in the evangelist quartet in Arvo Pärt’s Passio at the Tapestry of Sacred Music Festival in Singapore, Pergolesi’s Stabat mater, Haydn’s Creation Mass (soloist), and Handel’s Messiah with Canberra Choral Society (soloist). In addition to her work as a performer, Stephanie has works in arts administration.
