She has premiered, performed and recorded multiple works by Dutch contemporary composers, including Tera de Marez Oyens, Bernard van Beurden, Frans Vermeerssen, Zacharias Falkenberg, and Joep Franssens: the latter performed in collaboration with Het Orkest van het Oosten and broadcast live on national Radio 4. She has also performed works by composers such as Terence Allbright, Peter Wiegold, Thea Musgrave, and Pēteris Vasks.

Irene won First Prize at the Euregio Vokalwettbewerb; received the Audience Prize of the Chartered Surveyors’ Vocal Prize at GSMD; and was awarded the Encouragement Prize during the Prinses Christina Concours, an annual competition held in the Netherlands.
