Tina Gruenberg (violin)

Tina Gruenberg was born in London and made her concerto debut at the Aldeburgh Festival at the age of nine. She was the youngest ever soloist at the Three Choirs Festival where she played with her father Erich Gruenberg and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

She has appeared as soloist at the Royal Festival Hall with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the London Mozart Players. In 1990 she was appointed Sub-Leader of the London Philharmonic Orchestra where she has led for such conductors as Bernard Haitink, Zubin Mehta, Gennadi Rozhdestvensky, Sir Charles Mackerras, Sir Andrew Davis and Franz Welser-Möst.
