The first draft of a piano version of the Schnitterchor (Reapers' Chorus) from the Prometheus Choruses is part of a very messy manuscript which continues with the opening of a piano transcription of the following chorus – the Winzerchor. The final version is actually based on a later version of the choruses themselves and avoids some of the unnecessary complications of this first effort.
