December 2013 Releases

Hyperion's Record of the Month for December 2013 is a thrill: Stephen Hough performing the two Brahms Piano Concertos. Consummate virtuosity and characteristic intimacy are illuminated by the Mozarteumorchester Salzburg under the renowned Mark Wigglesworth. The BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and Martyn Brabbins conclude the composer's anniversary year with thumping Hindemith Orchestral Music, a comprehensive programme of the most enduring of these entertaining works.
