Terry Wey (countertenor)

Born in 1985 in Bern, Switzerland, Terry Wey was educated as a member of the Vienna Boys Choir and later at the Vienna conservatory. His international operatic career has led him to venues such as the Teatro Real Madrid, Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, Staatsoper Stuttgart or Theater an der Wien, working with renowned conductors such as William Christie, Marc Minkowski, Thomas Hengelbrock or Riccardo Muti. Apart from being a founding member of Cinquecento, Terry also regularly sings with leading vocal ensembles such as the Huelgas Ensemble, Weser-Renaissance Bremen or Gesualdo Consort Amsterdam.
