Kathron Sturrock (piano)

Twice voted best pianist at the Sofia International Opera Competition, Kathron Sturrock worked for several years with Elisabeth Swarzkopf in her masterclasses throughout Europe. She is a founder member and Artistic Director of the Chamber ensemble The Fibonacci Sequence, and records frequently for BBC Radio 3. As a soloist she has appeared with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and the BBC Concert Orchestra, making her Proms debut in 1994. As well as Hyperion, she has recorded for Chandos, Gamut and ASV.
