The F major Fugue first appeared in a Hamburg manuscript in 1705. It has no tempo directive but has an ‘open air’ subject which suggests vivacity and élan.

Die Fuge in F-Dur erschien zuerst in einem Hamburger Manuskript im Jahre 1705. Sie besitzt keinerlei Anweisungen zum Tempo, aber ein „Freiluft“-Thema, das lebhaft und schwungvoll klingt.
