Das Präludium im Stil Buxtehudes gibt sich eher anmutig als forsch, während die Tanzfuge mit ihren ungewöhnlichen Akzenten und Vorhalten eine geradezu feminine Leichtigkeit hat, verstärkt durch eine auffällig hoch angesetzte Pedalstimme.
