The Rondo in B flat major WO8 is simply a reworked version of a very old sonata movement of his that had first appeared in 1779—from Op 2 No 5. The music abounds in the fast parallel thirds and octaves that were the earmarks of that bygone time in Clementi’s career.

Le Rondo en si bémol majeur WO8 est un simple refaçon d’un très vieux mouvement de sonate tiré de son op. 2 no 5, publié pour la première fois en 1779. Das Rondos in B-Dur WO8 ist eine überarbeitete Version eines sehr alten Sonatensatzes Clementis, der 1779 erstmals (in op. 2 Nr. 5) erschienen war. Die Musik strotzt nur so vor schnellen Terz- und Oktavparallelen, die Charakteristika des frühen Clementi gewesen waren.
