Philip Wilby

Philip Wilby (b1949) was educated at Keble College, Oxford, and studied composition with Herbert Howells. He was appointed Lecturer in Composition at the University of Leeds in 1970. In recent times his compositions have mostly been concerned with music for brass band and for the church.
