Philip Cave (conductor)

Philip Cave is Magnificatʼs founder and conductor. He began his musical training as a choirboy and then took a choral scholarship to Christ Church, Oxford, where he studied under Simon Preston. He has worked with many of the countryʼs leading vocal ensembles and conductors, including formative years with The Clerkes of Oxenford under David Wulstan. Philip has been a member of The Tallis Scholars and a lay-clerk at New College, Oxford under Edward Higginbottom.
