Swedish mezzo-soprano Anna Grevelius studied at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London with Laura Sarti and was later accepted to the Benjamin Britten International Opera School at the Royal College of Music, as a Sir Thomas Allen Scholar, studying with Lillian Watson. She then joined the National Opera Studio for the 2006/07 season. She was the winner of the 2004 Gerald Moore Award’s Singer’s Prize, the 2006 RCM Lies Askonas Competition and received the ‘Prix Gabriel Dussurget 2009’ at the Festival Aix-en-Provence. She has sung numerous operatic roles at the Royal College and English National Opera, including Rosina in The Barber of Seville at ENO, which won outstanding reviews.
