Peter Evans is an English player of outstanding gifts. He has performed as soloist and in various duos and ensembles throughout Britain, with appearances at the Edinburgh and Aldeburgh Festivals, and has played in Austria, Germany, the USA and the Soviet Union. He broadeasts frequently for BBC Radio 3 and has also recorded for BBC Television, Scottish Television, French and Swedish Radio. He lives in Edinburgh where he is principal conductor of the Meadows Chamber Orchestra.
