David Bednall (organ)

David Bednall is a student of Naji Hakim and David Briggs. He was born in 1979 and studied in Sherborne, The Queen’s College, Oxford, where he was an organ scholar, and was then Organ Scholar at the cathedrals of Gloucester and Wells. He was a prize-winner in Improvisation and Performance at the examination for Fellow of The Royal College of Organists in 2002 and is active as a recitalist in the United Kingdom and abroad. He was appointed Assistant Organist of Wells Cathedral in September 2005.
