Recent releases with the Seattle Symphony include Mahler’s tenth symphony and Nielsen’s third and fourth symphonies, shortlisted for the Gramophone and Grammy Awards respectively. In total, he has made over seventy CDs, including complete symphonic cycles by Beethoven, Schubert, Schumann and Rued Langgaard.

He has been awarded the Cross of Chivalry by the Queen of Denmark, and elected to the Swedish Royal Academy of Music.
