First line:
La romance du soir dans les airs s'évapore
author of text

The Romance du soir, composed for mixed chorus in 1902 to a text by Jean-Louis Croze, recalls a gentler age disturbed only by heavenly sounds of the ‘evening romance’ and ‘happy children’.
