Maxwell Davies & Panufnik: Symphonies No 10

This first recording by the London Symphony Orchestra and Sir Antonio Pappano of Sir Peter Maxwell Davies' Symphony No 10—a 45-minute contemplation of the life and grisly suicide of the Italian baroque architect Francesco Borromini— was first released in 2014. It is now available coupled with a further Symphony No 10, that by Sir Andrzej Panufnik which was written to mark the centenary of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in 1988.
