At the heart of this album we have Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No 3, the work Isata Kanneh-Mason performed to considerable acclaim at her BBC Proms debut in August 2023. Ryan Bancroft reprises his role as conductor here, and the solo piano works chosen to complete the album encompass the full range of this composer’s richly varied output.
