Tchaikovsky: The seasons

When Yunchan Lim became the youngest-ever winner of the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition at the age of eighteen, a meteoric rise to worldwide fame began. Now he presents his most personal and contemplative recording to date. In his accompanying booklet note, Lim describes how he considers the twelve pieces of Tchaikovsky’s Seasons not simply as the expected sequence of months, but as a touching narrative depicting the last year of a person’s life.
