Georges Bizet provides pieces that are not so much ‘for children’ as ‘about childhood’. The top, an impromptu, is No 2 of Jeux d’enfants, a set of twelve pieces for piano duet composed in 1871, and is heard here in the piano solo arrangement by Lucien Garbon.

La pièce de Georges Bizet n’est pas tant «pour les enfants» que «sur le monde de l’enfance». La toupie, le deuxième des Jeux d’enfants (un corpus de douze pièces pour duo pianistique composé en 1871), est un impromptu proposé ici dans l’arrangement pour piano solo de Lucien Garbon.
