Angela Hewitt has recorded a fourth volume of Beethoven Piano Sonatas, a journey this time from the youthful Op 22 to the epic Op 101 in A major. A second edition of music from 13th-century France, Conductus once again presents John Potter, Christopher O'Gorman and Rogers Covey-Crump in demonstration-bracket performances of this enthralling byway of the repertoire.
Re-issued this month are the sublime Couperin Leçons de Ténèbres from James Bowman and Michael Chance, and Katarina Karnéus in a revelatory album of Sibelius Songs.
