Sonata in B minor, Kk377

composer
1754; Allegrissimo

The Sonata in B minor, Kk377, is written almost entirely in just two parts. The running sixteenth notes in the right hand contrast with a walking bass in the left. In it the student can learn to simultaneously do different things with the hands without worrying about too many other complications. Its themes have a whirling character, often turning in circles. The tempo marking of allegrissimo urges us to keep it lively.
