Dass du mich liebst, Op 4 No 3
Schumannesque is the impassioned love lyric, Dass du mich liebst Op 4 No 3, an AAB structure which makes subtle use of variation in its first two verses before the emotion of the lover wells up in the climax of the final section (‘Mein Herz ist wie die Sonne’), replete with luxuriant dominant elevenths.
