So perverse

First line:
All women born are so perverse
composer
1905
author of text

Robert Bridges little triolet seems to be liked or hated, but not ignored: ‘ … the triviality mindlessly courted in So perverse, a song which is best forgotten’ (Banfield); ‘subtly tongue-in-cheek’ (Bishop); ‘achievements like the wryly humorous use of harmonic variation in So perverse’ (Payne).
