Smiles, then kisses
EnglishFrançaisDeutsch
The Irish bandmaster Charles Ancliffe (1880–1952) was a light-music composer of particular accomplishment. He followed his famous waltz Nights of Gladness (1912) with others in similar style, of which Smiles, then Kisses (1913) enjoyed renewed familiarity after World War II with the craze for ‘olde tyme dances’.
