All fancy sick
Arne was not the only composer to write attractive Shakespeare settings at the time. The Dutch composer Willem De Fesch wrote music for a production of The Tempest at Drury Lane in 1746, including an up-to-date setting of ‘All fancy sick’ as a da capo aria for soprano, flute and continuo.
