Der Pilgrim

First line:
Noch in meines Lebens Lenze
composer
author of text

The Schiller setting Der Pilgrim is an example of Kreutzer’s later style in the 1840s; it was first published in Täglichsbeck’s Orpheon and there is no sign from the music that Kreutzer was aware of Schubert’s earlier setting.
