Lauda anima mea
EnglishFrançaisDeutsch
Lauda anima mea (‘Praise, my soul’) adopts close imitation and an assertive downward fourth motif for its opening. ‘Psallam Deo meo’ (‘I shall sing to my God’) is stated in thirds and tenths, before the texture thins to a more reticent Alleluia.
