Oratio Dominica
EnglishFrançaisDeutsch
Oratio Dominica (a setting of The Lord’s Prayer for eight voices alternating with plainchant) elongates the notes of the plainchant in the second voice down in the polyphonic texture. Praetorius thereby achieves a grand and static effect in this highly polished miniature.
