Cradle Song, Op 9 No 1
Cradle Song is rather extensive and shares something of the plaintive quality of ‘Luchinushka’. It has the character of a bedtime story told in that half-hushed tone by a reader who wants to magic a child to sleep on a wing of coloured dreams.
