Vom Fels zum Meer!—Deutscher Siegesmarsch (From Rock to Sea!—German Victory March) does not appear to commemorate anything particular in history, but, whether for piano or orchestra, is as jolly and foursquare a thing as even Sousa ever wrote.

Vom Fels zum Meer!—Deutscher Siegesmarsch (Du Rocher à la Mer!—Marche Triomphale allemande) ne semble pas commémorer un événement historique particulier. Cette pièce pour piano ou orchestre est une œuvre enjouée et énergique que même Sousa n’aurait pu composer.

Vom Fels zum Meer!—Deutscher Siegesmarsch scheint nicht zum Gedenken an einen besonderen geschichtlichen Anlaß entstanden zu sein. Dieser Marsch ist jedoch, sei es in seiner Klavier- oder Orchesterfassung, so fröhlich und energisch,daß er einen Vergleich mit jeder beliebigen Marschkomposition selbst eines Sousa ertragen könnte.
