Reviews

‘A wonderful selection … the music is a real delight … the singing is uniformly excellent and inspiring’ (Early Music Review)
Exhibiting an unusually small range of just seventeen notes across four mixed voices is Cristo's setting of Ave maris stella, the Office Hymn at Marian Vespers, whose odd-numbered stanzas are present, in a polyphonic version, between folios 50v and 54r of MM 36.
