Rachel Leach

Rachel Leach has written pieces and led education projects for many of the UK’s finest ensembles, orchestras and opera companies including LSO, LPO, ETO, Royal Opera House, ENO, London Sinfonietta. Rachel’s music has been recorded by NMC and published by Faber. Writing for children and amateurs is a large part of Rachel’s work. Her output includes well over twenty pieces for LSO Discovery and fifteen community operas, including five for ETO. Rachel’s music and education work has won several awards including the RPS Award for Best Education Project 2009 for One Day Two Dawns (with ETO). Rachel is increasingly in demand as a concert presenter. She is the presenter of the LSO St Luke’s lunchtime concert series and regularly presents concerts and pre-concert events for LSO, BBC Proms, RCM and at Wigmore Hall.
